Habitat is proud to work with our neighbors to build safe, decent, affordable homes, something that could not be done without the service of our many willing volunteers. Reaching out from Christian roots to practice the Theology of the Hammer, Habitat is open to all people, and we welcome volunteers from every faith, denomination, race and economic status to join us in our mission to end substandard housing in the Lakeway Area. What's really exciting and unique about Lakeway Area Habitat's work, is that we provide opportunities for thousands of people and organizations to get involved. When we work together to help people be successfull homeowners, we create successfull communities, because homes and families are the foundation of successful communities.

Creating affordable housing is a community effort and Lakeway Area Habitat For Humanity strives to create high-quality volunteer experiences for all members of the community seeking to respond to the need for affordable housing. There are a wide range of opportunities available for groups and individuals. Volunteers can help with new home construction and home restoration, office support, family services, event planning, and many other aspects of Lakeway Area Habitat's work.
